VanderMeer works hard for constituents
Over the last several years, I have gotten to know Nancy VanderMeer and am honored to call her my friend. She ably represents the 70th Assembly District in Madison and is proud of her many accomplishments. She currently chairs the Rural Development Committee, is vice-chair for Veterans and Military Affairs and works on the Agriculture and Mental Health committees.
Nancy has always been a proponent for education. She is proud to tell constituents that school spending for grades K-12 is at historic levels; tuition for the UW System schools remains frozen, and sparsity aid for rural school districts has increased. Nancy is an advocate for job training and collaborated to help young people transitioning to work in Tomah Area School District's School to Work Program.
Wisconsin is working. Anyone who wants a job can get one. The unemployment rate for Monroe County is at the historic low of 2.5 percent. Prior to 2018, Wisconsin never had a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate below three percent.
Nancy works hard to earn your trust and deserves your vote. You have likely seen her walking up and down the streets of towns and villages of the 70th Assembly District. Nancy has literally knocked on thousands of doors and engaged uncountable numbers of her constituents. She earnestly wants to know what is on your mind. Nancy is easy to talk to and her eyes light up when she sees someone she knows. She is very approachable and genuine.
Nancy has earned your trust and confidence. Vote for Nancy VanderMeer on Nov. 6.
